*Iyengar Yoga

The Iyengar method of Yoga is initially learnt through the in-depth study of asanas (posture) and pranayama (breath control). In practice Iyengar yoga focuses particularly on three aspects. Correct body alignment allows the body to develop harmoniously in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practising correctly.

Lothar’s journey on the yoga way started 16 years ago back in 2001.In 2002, he was introduced to his first Iyengar yoga class.

Healthy breathing and alignment are consistent points of focus in his classes. Lothar’s teaching style is intuitive and nourishes the hidden strengths of his students while challenging them to reach beyond their perceived limitations. He is a dynamic, inspirational yoga teacher who brings his energy, humor and philosophy to every class he teaches. Not only that, he teaches his student to take their yoga off the mat and apply the principles learned in class to their daily lives.


Siew Keow Tan, Elaine

She started learning from a teacher from the Bihar school tradition back in 1998. In 2008, she found her way to the Iyengar institute in Pune where she took her first Iyengar yoga class.

Now 9 years after she changed the course of her life, she is walking the path of yoga and leading the way of life which makes her happy.
