*Elemental Yoga

Elemental Yoga is a unique system that integrates the wisdom of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hatha Yoga into a holistic lifestyle practice both on and off the mat. Elemental Yoga uses gentle, physical postures, gestures, breathwork and visualisation to bring harmony to the 5-elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Space) within the body/mind constitution by strengthening, stretching and supporting the correlating elemental meridians. When we are constitutionally imbalanced, dis-ease can manifest mentally, emotionally and physically, until realignment of our elemental energies is addressed. This system of yoga empowers the individual to design a more specific yoga practice to therapeutically shift imbalances and to develop a closer relationship with nature, ultimately leading to a greater awareness of our own inner nature – perfect Yoga. No yoga experience is necessary and the classes can be adapted to any level of practitioner. Expect a balanced class that includes mindfulness, flexibility, strength, coordination and therapeutic insight.

 

As an Embodiment Facilitator, AMBER ROJAS SAWYER shares the joy of living heartfullly through holistic, embodiment practices of Yoga, Active Meditations, and Elemental Wellness. With nearly 20 years of study and practice in these esoteric sciences, as well as a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the field of stem-cell tissue repair, Amber brings a unique perspective on healing and self-discovery through the influence of scientific and ancient wisdoms. Amber has studied and practiced extensively with Masters, Yogis, Vaidyars and Acharyas around the world to deepen her self practice and sharings, including more than 900 hours of yoga certification, 1400 hours of Ayurveda certification and countless hours of self practice, workshops and immersions. After enjoying the conscious birth of her little one, Amber currently resides in Singapore and travels the world with her family, inspiring holistic living through Intuitive Elemental Guidance, active meditation, yoga, retreats, immersions and conscious festival organization. Part of this work also focuses on empowering women to have a conscious pregnancy, birth experience and preparedness for motherhood.
