Embodying presence –
Yin yoga & mindfulness
This workshop is an invitation to explore presence as a full body experience through different modalities including yin yoga, mindfulness and self inquiry.
Weaving together practices that are focused on somatic awareness, we are tuning into the qualities of YIN – softening and releasing, interoception and receptivity.
Yin yoga is a restorative practice that includes little to no movement in the postures, ideally supported by props to promote softness.
It’s a rather meditative practice that can help cultivate acceptance and meet what’s alive inside of you.
Through breath awareness and meditation we will support reinhabiting the body through felt sense. Returning to wholeness from the inside out.
Everything and every body is welcome. You don’t need to have any meditation or yoga experience.
Please bring comfortable clothes that keep you warm and a blanket to cover. Feel free to bring pen and paper.
